It works well, but be very careful that your children do not attempt to apply pressure of any kind to the frame, and as soon as you are done using it, pack it up and stow it away properly.
The clamps break off easily. We lost two of them in 4 months of use, and had to trash the canopy.
The good: when not broken, it does provide shade and shelter to riders. We got a couple good trips to the zoo out of it, one in sun, and one in light rain (daddy doesn't mind getting wet, and the animals are much more active in the cool, so this was particularly useful).
