(More customer reviews)We bought this clock last year for my daughter for Christmas. From the beginning I noticed that the clock is extremely hard to read. The blue backlight makes it nearly impossible in the daytime, in fact, we bought a wall clock just because I could never read the time while trying to get her ready in her room.
Every night she liked to turn the nightlight feature on before going to bed. It quickly burnt out, and there seems to be no way to replace the bulb. If I had designed this I think I would have kept in mind that many kids would sleep with it on at night & the bulb is going to burn out.
Also the radio feature stopped working correctly. The 'sleep' button no longer works. I used to keep it on the classical station very soft and push it before she went to bed, so that it would turn itself off after an hour. That worked for about two or three months before it quit.
I'm convinced that before a year is up, we'll just have to throw the thing away because eventually everything will stop working!
