I'VE BEEN 175ft OUT & 80ft HIGH. !!! WIND IS A MAJOR FACTOR !!! 5mph OR LESS... HAVING A HILL/SLOPE TO LAUNCH OFF IS A PLUS. THE PROBLEM IS... THE BATTERY IS OLD SCHOOL, Ni-Mh, AND A SMALL CAPACITY; I'VE FLOWN FOR UP TO 5min40sec & BENCH TESTED TO 6min20sec. I'VE DONE THIS, WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE... BUY A 7.4V 1100MAH "LIPO" BATTERY, SAME WEIGHT, TWICE THE FLIGHT TIME !! /// this is an inexpensive option ONLY for those already into R/C hobby; LIPO CHARGERS ARE SPECIAL AND EXPENSIVE.
