Well it isn't really a toy and children should never touch it without immediate adult supervision. How would you rate this toy's educational value? That depends largly on adult supervision... etc.
This is a first rate sealing iron, exactly the same as you would purchase at your local hobby store. It was delivered in a timely manner in factory fresh condition. It does not come with a sock, but for my purposes that is fine. If you really need one pull an old one with a rubber band out of the drawer and attach it to the iron before you turn it on - voila, you have a sock!
