(More customer reviews)I live in an apartment which overlooks a pond so I decided to purchase one of these after making sure there were no rules against it. I already own a Hobbyzone Firebird Freedom RC airplane so I know this company makes great products. The Zig Zag Racer turned out to be the perfect choice for my apartment pond. Its virtually silent so I don't annoy my neighbors but it zips right along and turns on a dime. The standard 6-cell battery pack might be fine for a swimming pool but in my opinion is not fast enough for a large pond. I would highly recommend the optional 7-cell battery packs and charger available at [...] (RA-H2/3A7R3FMTx2 and CHUN-123 and CN-Adaptor(F-M)MTM). This is by far the best price I have found on these battery packs and the charger works perfectly every time. The difference in boat speed was worth the extra cost, plus the same batteries and charger can be used for other Hobbyzone products (such as the Firebird Freedom).
