(More customer reviews)I bought this ramp for my brother who is into RC car racing. We took it to the park and added it to our normal racing track (a bunch of tennis balls laid out in racing track configuration). The jump is 4 feet wide which seemed really wide until we were racing competitively and trying to both get over the ramp at near the same time, anything narrower wouldn't have worked.
The ramp worked great. We set it at it's lowest height which seems plenty high. With almost no run up to the ramp we easily got knee to hip high regularly. With a flat landing this was plenty high, allowed us to practice flying the cars to a safe landing, and only beat the cars up moderately over the 4 or 5 tanks of gas we ran that day.
The ramp is easy for an adult to setup and take apart to transport/store. To adjust the height you have to insert metal rods into different slots in each side of the ramp. Those slots seem likely to be the first things to wear out or break because after the first setup the slots showed signs of stress. Fortunately there are probably 25 slot combinations that will work fine on each side of the ramp and the ramp seems like it can easily be reinforced with clear packing tape.
