(More customer reviews)This Percy r/c train with remote works well and is durable. It will run on the wooden track but does sometimes get stuck. It runs great on the blue track for the motorized Thomas trains. Doesn't come with track of it's own but it will also run on the floor with no need for track or you can buy the trackmaster track. It's pretty versatile. There is the joystick that moves it forward and back. Then there are 2 buttons. One button toots and the other plays the Thomas theme song. So far we only have Percy but we will be getting the others. A great thing is that if the child is not using the remote the the train stops as well and it saves on the battery unlike the other motorized Thomas trains that my son would turn the switch on and walk away and it kept running until the battery died.
