(More customer reviews)I bought this toy 9 months ago thinking it would be good to upload videos on for my 9 year old to watch while on the go. The mix max itself is very lightweight, looks metallic but definitely I had my doubts at first. The biggest disappointmet was the lack of movies to buy from disney. They were always sold out at the store or online. I did do some research and found out successfully how to get my own dvds onto this thing. There is a software that you can download online for about $25. Anyway it was called ImTOO DVD ripper Platinum or ImToo DVD to Pocket PC Ripper . There is a free trial version for you to try before you buy. I did, and basically you insert your DVD into your computer and this software converts it to wmv files which is what the mixmax uses. Then you save the file onto your computer and drag the file onto an SD card. Now uploaded onto the SD card, you insert the card in your mixmax and wala, you have your own dvd movie of your choice on the mix max. The files are small, but I did download "Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone" into a 1 gb card with room to spare for I guess one more movie. The quality of the movie was very good, sound wise and picture wise. All her friends are amazed at her mixmax and want one now.
