(More customer reviews)We bought this for my son's second birthday. He is a little small for his age and does not quite fit standard tricycles. The adjustable frame seemed like it would work, and it did. We could grow or shrink the bike to fit his legs.
The problem is that the training wheels are too far aft, too small, and the distance between them is too narrow. Even while sitting still, when my son turned the handle bars the bike would tip to the side. No one this small can ride a bicycle, so I don't understand why the designers did not go for a more traditional tricycle design. Perhaps the adjustable frame requires having a big wheel under the rider. Either way, the out-rigger wheels need to be larger and further from the frame.
I do not feel comfortable letting my two-year-old ride this bike/trike. It's going back to the store ASAP.
