Earth and the parallel universe called Lyoko fae the threat of annihiliation. A relentless virus only known as X.A.N.A. has infected the ultimate Super Computer and opened a portal of chaos from Lyoko's virtual realm to our planet. Only four kids, Yumi, Urich, Ofdd and Jeremy know of Lyoko's existence and can foil the mad virus evil's designs. With the help of their virtual guide, Aelita, they must lead double lives as ordinary students on earth an time-travelling superheroes in Lyoko to fight X.A.N.A. and save both worlds.
