(More customer reviews)I bought this for my 11 year old son, who has been a fan of Monster Trucks for some time. He lives on a ranch property with a gravel road and lots of rough terrain, so I knew a regular remote control vehicle would not work, that he would need something rugged. I'm pleased that he has very much enjoyed playing with it, and it has proven to be fairly durable. It does climb over rocks and dirt with no problems. The controls work pretty well; he even incorporates it into his playing with army men formations as a "tank"! I would have given it five stars, except for the battery issue. This thing really sucks up the battery juice! If you get this, be sure to also get some rechargable batteries, too. :)
