(More customer reviews)My grandson is only 4 but became interested in submarines. We bought him a couple of "baby ones" and then saw this at a good price. It works great! It has amazing propulsion and diving ability. And is easy enough to operate by a 4 year old. However, it's a bit much for bathtub use, you're going to need a swimming pool to get the best use out of it. Also, it needs to be taken apart and dried out after every use, not something that kids are going to remember to do without reminders from parents. I'm thinking that the longevity of it as a toy is going to be directly related to how involved the parent is with its after-use care.
