(More customer reviews)Now that I have a child , I wanted a train to go around the tree so I purchased this set. I priced many sets online and they're pretty expensive $100-$250. For my purpose this one works just fine. It's a little flimsy and the cars come unattached fairly easily but it was only $60, so you basically get what you pay for. It plays Christmas songs but doesn't have a volume control- wish it did, it's a little loud. It goes forward and backward but has no speed control- again, wish it did. Overall, I am very pleased with this train set. I used only the curved tracks so it goes right around my Christmas tree skirt and looks adorable. If you want something durable with more features shop around, if you want a cute little train that's only used for a few days a year, this will work.
