I agree that there is a poor screw holding the battery in the remote, we ordered a second remote and it was the same thing, so it's a design flaw. The truck is very poor quality, I have to make my boys be extremely careful with it so that they don't break it because it definately is cheaply made. the rechargeable battery no longer takes charge for it and we have had it for about 6 months. You would think for an $80 truck they could put a better quality battery with it or a battery that is easily replaceable.
