This radio is the best out there. I have Spektrum (mostly garbage - engineers are stuck in 1970 avoid. I got this for the bind n fly only), JR (pretty good - definitely a huge step up in the DSM2 world), and Futaba. I prefer Futaba due to excellent interface (you'll know what I mean when you try to program a dx7 or other Spektrum) over the Horizon Hobby line of products. It has excellent response, can be upgraded (it's a PC with a radio attached), great features (you could not possibly think of any they left out), and touch and feel. The biggest knock on this transmitter is the price. No radio should cost more than $1300....
