(More customer reviews)I got this alarm clock as a Christmas present - even though I am 21 years old! Unlike most alarm clocks that are cute, this one is also very functional. I love the night light; it is perfect for me because when I wake up in the middle of the night and walk out of my room, I can turn it on (before I get out of bed) so I don't bump into anything (usually my cat). I also like how I do not have to switch the alarm all the way off when I get up in the morning. All I have to do is press the alarm button, and it resets itself for the next day! I can also control exactly how long I want the music to play before going to bed (most alarms will only play music for 59 min). The hello kitty figure is the "snooze bar", and it is great because it is so easy to find when I want to quickly hit the "snooze bar" and go back to sleep. The buttons and knobs on this alarm are all easy to access, and the switch for the night light is right behind the lemon slice. The time display is easy to read from any angle, and it's not too bright or too dim.
I think a major problem with some of the reviewers complaining about the sound quality of the radio is they never bothered to read the manual. In the manual it states that the sound quality can be altered by straightening the cord (the outlet plug and antenna are combined in one cord) and by changing it's position. My reception is just fine, and it is a lot better than the reception I got from my previous alarm clock.
