(More customer reviews)It is ideal for a girl's first MP3 player. Plays MP3 files, not MPEG4. Holds 40 MP3s and 80WMAs. Very cute design. Earphones are good, but are designed for big people ears, if your child is small you might want to buy kid ear phones. We bought her an I-Dog as a speaker to go with it and she loves it. You kind of have to play with the computer a little bit to get those audio files converted to the right format - MP3. I-tunes use MP4s and it's a bit confusing(to a non-computer genius like me) to find out how to convert files. With the right program and help we got it working smoothly. It's an excellent product and the price is great.

(More customer reviews)My 9 year old is a serious collector of Littlest Pet Shop items and this is the only thing that she asked for on her birthday. She is totally pleased with it and gets a kick out of the animal sounds that wake her up and the snoring snooze button. As a mom I wish it had been something that plugged into the wall so that we don't have to buy batteries over and over but it's been 6 weeks and we haven't had to change yet so maybe it won't be too bad.

(More customer reviews)I got this alarm clock as a Christmas present - even though I am 21 years old! Unlike most alarm clocks that are cute, this one is also very functional. I love the night light; it is perfect for me because when I wake up in the middle of the night and walk out of my room, I can turn it on (before I get out of bed) so I don't bump into anything (usually my cat). I also like how I do not have to switch the alarm all the way off when I get up in the morning. All I have to do is press the alarm button, and it resets itself for the next day! I can also control exactly how long I want the music to play before going to bed (most alarms will only play music for 59 min). The hello kitty figure is the "snooze bar", and it is great because it is so easy to find when I want to quickly hit the "snooze bar" and go back to sleep. The buttons and knobs on this alarm are all easy to access, and the switch for the night light is right behind the lemon slice. The time display is easy to read from any angle, and it's not too bright or too dim.
I think a major problem with some of the reviewers complaining about the sound quality of the radio is they never bothered to read the manual. In the manual it states that the sound quality can be altered by straightening the cord (the outlet plug and antenna are combined in one cord) and by changing it's position. My reception is just fine, and it is a lot better than the reception I got from my previous alarm clock.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my daughter and simply read "Hello Kitty Alarm Clock with FM Radio" to me that says it is an alarm clock with a FM radio. That is not the case, the clock itself has no radio feature it comes with a bonus FM radio scanner. This scanner is hello kitty, you simply push a button and it scans for available FM stations it has no speakers only earbuds and the scanner quit working less then an hour out of the box.
