PROs: The unit is light and can easily be programmed with a Castle Link which sold separately. It saves weight and space without using an extra battery pack. It uses the same battery as the ESC does. The instruction came with the unit for installation is clear and very detail in anyway.
CONs: The unit is a little beefy/bulky. You need to have a "Y" harness in order to connect it to receiver with 7 channel or less.

The Castle PRO BEC is intended for use in larger RC cars, electric aircraft, and helis that have high power demands for their radio/servo systems.
