(More customer reviews)Don't waste your money here. Within hours of recieving this toy, my son told me he didn't like it. The all-important grappler part of the truck does not have the strength to hold or carry anything heavier than a tissue. The truck does make alot of noise, if thats what you're looking for. It moves forward, but it doesn't have enough torque (or weight)to turn well, leaving the back wheel just spinning on the rug. It doesn't move backwards, either. The second joystick makes the grabbing arm move up and down, but not grab, you have to stick something in the grappler manually. So there you have it. A waste of plastic. We got another toy from this same (chinese) company, and it also sucks. Just bad quality stuff. *** EDIT (a few days later) -- ok now that I have gotten my disappointment vented, let me be reasonable here: The toy is playable. If you work it, you can get the toy to carry something in its grappler, though it must be light. The toy does move. It does make exciting noises. My son (3.5 years old) has played with is once since opening it on Christmas. Maybe twice if I wasn't looking. Sadly, we have discovered that it is easy to trip on if left on the floor, because of the long cord from the controller to the truck. Even with my frustration vented, and noting the merits of the toy, I would still give it a poor score. It just doesn't do what the little boy looking at it thinks it will do. The box presentation is fantastic. Take away the box and the toy is left wanting. Let me recommend instead ANY toy from fatbraintoys.com, some of which are sold here on amazon. All the toys we got from that site have been huge hits at our house, they are all rated by age and sex, and every single one was cheaper than this grappler.
