(More customer reviews)I'm no pro, so my standards may not be as high as others. This esc is simple to use, and seems powerful and efficient. I like the Traxxas battery connectors - high current, durable, relatively easy to solder. The fact that it's waterproof is fantastic - I can run it in the 'dirt', which more often than not is mud where I live. The esc itself is big - I've had to struggle to fit it into a few models. On my old Tamiya Hornet, it kept spontaneously shutting off for reasons I could never quite figure out. It would often shut off right after a collision, which is very annoying. In retrospect, it might have the crummy Tamiya battery adapter I was using, or I might have accidentally had the ESC set to LiPO batteries when I was using NiMh. So with the exception of that one flaw, which I suspect was my fault, this a great controller.
