Earphones are good, but are designed for big people ears, if your child is small you might want to buy kid ear phones. We bought her an I-Dog as a speaker to go with it and she loves it. You kind of have to play with the computer a little bit to get those audio files converted to the right format - MP3. I-tunes use MP4s and it's a bit confusing(to a non-computer genius like me) to find out how to convert files. With the right program and help we got it working smoothly. It's an excellent product and the price is great.
