(More customer reviews)I bought these for my daughter who is four because I thought she would get a kick out of them. But unfortunately we live near the interstate and these walkie talkies will pick up truckers communicating on CB radio. In the first 10 minutes of playing with them she was exposed to plenty of colorful language. Plus she got yelled at for talking on their channel. Sooo, I guess for this review I would say the product has excellent range and reception. The swear words were coming in crystal clear. For educational value they are also excellent in that it greatly expands their vocabulary. But I returned them right away.

(More customer reviews)This is a great idea for a great marketing group . . . little kids who want to listen to music "just like the big kids." The FP3 has a few issues of it own, but the speakers were disappointing. The sound quality is not good. Even with the volume turned up it is difficult to hear. Another huge down fall is that a power cord is not available . . . so you can end up going through batteries pretty fast. To top it all off, my son has difficulty getting the FP3 correctly mounted into the speaker unit on his own. Overall we were very disappointed with this accessory.

(More customer reviews)I was skeptical of purchasing this item, since although Fisher-Price is a great brand, there haven't been the greatest reviews on some of the other "Kid Tough" items. But I am SO GLAD I did!
This was purchased as a birthday present for my 3 year old. He loves music, and I had contemplated buying him an Ipod Touch for his birthday for the music and games, but instead purchased this and Leapster Explorer.
It holds a good amount of music, around 50-60 songs, depending on the length. The sound is loud but not too loud. The microphone is cute and my son loves to sing along with his music.
It is VERY durable, and I don't worry about my son playing with it, even though drops are inevitable.
The setup is very simple, you download software from fisher price and then it has a very simple uploader for your songs.
Overall, I think this is a great choice for any child who loves music and has their favorite songs. The battery power leaves a bit to be desired, so I would invest in rechargeable batteries.

LEGO Walkie Talkies Review

(More customer reviews)I should start out by saying that I am a physical therapist working in a skilled nursing facility. I recently had a patient that had a hard time with the nurses bell, so I decided to try these out.
I love how easy these are to use - turn the on switch and push the yellow button to talk. The clarity is great (although I have only used these in shorter distances- about 350 feet or less). The battery life has been good as well. And, while I hate to admit it, my little boy got a hold of these and dropped them several times before I got to him with no ill effects on the walkie talkie.
I would definetly get these again, for kids and grown ups alike.
