(More customer reviews)The Kawasaki Sports walkie talkie does not work. Plain and simple does not work. We tried a few of these and all we ended up with was static. You could not hear the other person while speaking. Only way to hear someone was to be right next them and speak loudly over the static. Kinda defeated the purpose. Don't waste your time and money.

(More customer reviews)Xmas present for my son. I didn't even want to open the box since I could have returned it if left intact. In order to hear anyone on the other unit, the volume needs to be BLASTED high as possible but that also leave soooo much loud static and even then, the other voice is so very faint. We stood on other sides of a glass door. That extra barrier provided too much interference even though we were only 6 feet away from each other.

My two kids were only one room apart and they couldn't hear each other. They could hear okay when the were in the same room--but what fun is that? we did enjoy mixing the parts with other Cranium toys. We have the boys' mega masks--all the parts interchange perfectly.

(More customer reviews)We got these for our young children. It is very poor;y made and there is no volume control. It is difficult to hear and the clarity is awful. The wheel broke off one right away and you have to be within about 30 feet for it to work. Find another walkie talkie.

(More customer reviews)Bought these for my son, for Christmas, he was so excited when he saw them. We are SO disappointed! As the other reviews state, they don't work more than 5-10 feet apart, you can barely hear anything if they even work at all, which is only occasionally. They will be returned in the next couple of days, after the "rush" lets up a little. These are a WASTE of money. If your child likes Elmo and Cookie don't do this to them. I wish I'd read these reviews before I bought them.

But unfortunately we live near the interstate and these walkie talkies will pick up truckers communicating on CB radio. In the first 10 minutes of playing with them she was exposed to plenty of colorful language. Plus she got yelled at for talking on their channel. Sooo, I guess for this review I would say the product has excellent range and reception. The swear words were coming in crystal clear. For educational value they are also excellent in that it greatly expands their vocabulary. But I returned them right away.

He was so excited to get them when he opened his present...My husband inserted the batteries that came with the walkie talkies, and they never worked for even a second. The sound quality is poor and the morse code feature could not be heard at all on the receiving end. I would not recommend this set. I feel as though I paid $17.99 for the the privilege of owning the "Toy Story" brand and not much else.
