(More customer reviews)This car is really cool, and my 2 year old daughter loves it...She thinks its so cool to race on the walls. I had bought 2 of the cars, and one said that you could change the channel on it so you can race it with another car like it, but that was not true. Once I had received the 2 cars they had the same channel. Since it was the same channel 2 peopel couldnt race the cars at once. I would not recommend buying the same car online since you are not to sure that the channels will be different. But the car is great. It looks and feels like a toy that you would get from the dollar store, but my daughter loves it and so do I.

(More customer reviews)The attraction of this little car is its ability to adhere itself to a smooth wall or ceiling, and dart around like a lizard catching flies. The remote requires 6 AA batteries (not included) and the car battery charges from the remote.
It's easy enough to set up, and pushing a tiny lever on the car starts up the little vacuum thingy at the bottom which allows the car to stay put on walls and ceilings. From there you move it around with the remote.
The problems arise when the walls aren't smooth, as even a little roughness causes a loss in steering ability. If you have high ceilings you won't be able to use this feature, mainly because you can't reach to put the car up there. You also need to keep an eye out for when the headlights start flashing, because this means you're just about out of charge - not very good news when you're driving upside down on a ceiling.
The video shows the car in operation on a not so smooth plywood wall, and a slightly smoother ceiling. In case you're my boss, any similarities between the driving surfaces shown in the video and the walls of my office are purely coincidental.
This is an ingenious little gizmo, and although limited by the availability of clear, smooth walls and ceilings, it's still a bundle of fun, especially for boys of all ages. Amanda Richards, January 6, 2009

(More customer reviews)I'm writing this for my 8 year old son, Logan, who bought this car; because the posting said that it would drive up walls and even on the ceiling. Lot's of GREAT advertising to make us think the toy would 'defy gravity'. When we opened the box, gave it a full charge, (just as the instructions indicated) and then tried to use it as described in the listing - we were HORRIBLY disappointed.
We tried driving it up regular (textured) walls & really smooth walls. Bottom line: it was not even CLOSE to powerful enough to get itself off the floor or support its weight when it was on the wall... Forget about the ceiling!
Even worse - it drives a lot slower than other remote control cars when it is on the floor. If you're looking at this with the hope that it will be as cool as it sounds - do not waste your money! This is the first review we've ever left ... it is the most disappointed we've ever been in our hundreds of purchases from Amazon.

(More customer reviews)I bought 2 of these for my nephews. One worked very well and one turned consistently to the left and didn't hold consistently to the wall. We tried all of the adjustments listed in the directions with only moderate improvement. In the end we returned one for a full refund. The second one worked great and while it wasn't the hit of Christmas day it provided good entertainment for all ages. The working one fell of the walls several times when it ran into pictures and molding, but didn't suffer significant damage. We have smooth walls. To be clear, the car runs on the wall-- it can't turn from the floor to wall, wall to wall or wall to ceiling. Fun, but other toys have retained their fun quotient much longer.

(More customer reviews)We got this in the mail, and my son couldn't wait to use it. He charged it up, and turned it on. IT IS SUPER LOUD. Louder than a vacuum and the tv on at the same time. The only thing that saved it from being thrown out was the light on my son and his best friends face when it actually stuck to the wall and zoomed past me. However, another downfall was the battery life. It is pretty much non-existent. He can only get a few good runs out of it before it dies, and when it DOES die, it literally just drops off the wall wherever it's at.

New Bright - 1:8 Radio Control Mighty Xtrm Review

(More customer reviews)There's not anything positive about this buggy. The power is terrible in both low and high gear. The remote is in constant partial forward when you let off the trigger. The RC range is about 30 feet (I found you have to unwind the antenna tucked inside the shell to even get to 30 feet, it's 10 feet otherwise). The car is made out of VERY cheap plastic that I'm sure would break under any collision.
Unless you want to drive circles around yourself for 15 minutes every 4 hours don't bother with this.
This is the second New Bright rc car I've been exposed to, both were awful. I don't know why the retailers stock these things.
