(More customer reviews)I was looking for an Airsoft battle tank so that I could have battles. I found this one from [...], and I saw how cheap the price was. I was excited that it was so much cheaper then the other tanks that they offered. That was the problem. I got it from them, and it looked like it got damaged in shipping. It was in a huge box, and I know that the shipping companies just throw the packages around. I pulled it out to see if it worked. The product works fine. I have noticed a couple things though.
First, you CANNOT overcharge the battery. The battery for this is sensitive. If you overcharge it at all, then it will stop working and only give you a few minutes of output. I have taken care of mine, and can run my tank for over 20 minutes.
Second, I have to be very careful when I handle the tank. It is fragile. Let me give a comparison.
I bought another Airsoft tank from [...]. This one was one of their $89 smoking tanks. They look pretty fragile in shipping too, but when I pulled it out of the box, I realized that it was much more sturdy. When I pick up the smoking tank, I can feel that it is more sturdy and I don't have to worry as much. But when I pick up the Giant Panzer one, I can notice a difference in the quality of construction.
So all in all, I really like my Giant Panzer Tank, and it is really fun to play with, but I wish that I would have paid a few dollars more for the $89 smoking tank because it is so much more worth it!

These RC tanks can climb up steep inclines and move over uneven surfaces. A great deal of attention was paid to realism, as evidenced by the tanks accurate design, with a body coated with camouflage paint (Color may vary some tanks are green camo and others are desert camo), and a rotating turret (290 degree span) and a vertical-moving gun. The Battle Front Tank has about a 28-yard firing range and uses real treads just like a real-life tank. All driving wheels utilize a suspension system.

(More customer reviews)I purchased the M41A3 tank from Amazing Tech Depot and it came broken in the box. They refused to accept a return of this broken piece of Chinese junk they sent me. If you deal with Amazing Tech Depot they will steal your money and send you broken Chinese junk. A Christmas present purchased in late November, it was opened by my sick grandson who was horrified & broken hearted to see it fall apart as it was lifted out of the box. The box it came in was in perfect condition. This pile of Chinese garbage was defective and shoved into a box anyway. Now I'm out over $100 including shipping. Don't let AMAZING TECH DEPOT trick you into buying the defective Chinese junk they sell or you'll be very, very sorry. Don't let these bandits do this to you. I'm also shocked that Amazon.com deals with thieves like this. This certainly reduces my confidence in Amazon.com and willingness to buy anything through their "marketplace" again. Amazon is trying to extend it's sales network and income by welcoming thieves like Amazing Tech Depot, but this will hurt them.

(More customer reviews)I bought this product from another dealer, and when it arrived it looked just like I expected. I charged the battery for the required 8 hours, hooked it up and...NOTHING HAPPENED!!!! No lights, no movement, nothing!
I returned it to the dealer (at MY expense) and voila! 4 weeks later I got a replacement. Guess what? It didn't work either, and the antenna for the controller was missing. They shipped me someone elses crappy refurbished product! WTF?!? Avoid this product from anyone, DO NOT BUY IT! If there is a bright point, at least the guy in the first review was lucky, he didn't have to pay the return shippng!

(More customer reviews)Ok I have had mine for a week. No problems. The front drive sprocket came off but I just put it back on. The screw was lose so I checked all the screws for the wheels and found more lose ones. I really enjoyed running the tank. It can climb and go over things, but use some caution, as it is not a real tank. The track, wheels, and suspension are plastic. The airsoft gun fires the bb's fairly hard and engine sound is good if a tad loud. The manual is not easy to understand. The battery will only last about 20 - 25 minutes as noted. The good news is you can upgrade the battery. I just ordered two 3800 Mah batteries and a better charger for a little over $60.00 from Amazon (Search under 7.2v batteries). The original battery was a 1700 Mah. I think this will more then double the running time. This tank can be upgraded in a variety of ways. You can get parts to change it to a late version Tiger. In addition, you can upgrade the tracks and gears to metal (Some are sold already upgraded and I wished I would have gone that route). The frame and suspension can be upgraded to metal as well. For those really into accuracy, there are places to get parts that are more detailed. Some sites to help:

There is a lot of stuff out there. These tanks are not perfect, but they are good. For the price they are a good deal for playing as is or a good starting point for more detail and upgrading. Just for the record I got my tank form Xheli Inc on Amazon. Have fun.

"Amazing Tech Depot" has a 15 day return period. They will also charge you a 15% restocking fee for returned merchandise. Read their return policy carefully.

(More customer reviews)I just received this today and after unpacking it and charging the battery and seeing it in action, I have to say this will be the one of the greatest gifts I have ever given a kid although my sister probably wont be too pleased, but you can turn off the airsoft portion(they do go far) or don't give it with the pellets and no one will be shooting their little sister. It moves fast, is easy to control and goes over things well. Alot of r/c vehicles need large areas or dont handle thick carpet well but this is perfect. Buy this with a pack of army men and blast away. I think I will have to order one for myself!!!! I had a radio control tank when I was young that I loved but this thing blows that away...definitely worth the money.

1st Attempt: I tried flying the plane the right way, with a departing takeoff from the ground using the wheels. No Way, the wheels broke off after remaining on the ground for 10 feet with no takeoff.
2nd Attempt: The second time around, I decided to try and fly it from the air, giving the plane a good throw after starting the engine, with the propellers on full blast. Not a Chance, the plane took a dive and the entire nose of the plane broke off!
It was educational for only one reason, that I will buy something of better quality next time! Whatever you do, do not purchase this product, and to top it off, the shipping took forever!

(More customer reviews)I received my "new" tank in the mail. It had a broken hatch and seven broken treads on one of the tracks. All the broken pieces were laying in the styrafoam packing inside the box, inside the UPS box. Wow, this toy was packed to the hilt. After complaining to "Heng Long Toys", they assured me that this toy was a brand new tank from the factory. They said they would send me another tank asap. I received my other "brand new" tank. It was packed the same sturdy way, and guess what, the same hatch was missing, not broken, as on my first tank. I checked the box thoroughly and found a hinge and a hatch thrown in with some of other extra parts. I put the hinge and the hatch on the tank. They were both dark green. The rest of the tank is tan, brown and camoflauge green. It obviously didn't come from the factory like that. I took some parts off of the first tank and with a little drilling, paint and some glue, it almost looks like "new". If you buy from "Heng Long Toys", buy two. If you are lucky, you will have enough parts to make one.
I gave my grandson the tank for his birthday. Although it was three days late, he loves it. I hope it lasts more days then how long it took to get it.

The metal tracks really add to the realism.Scale detail is very good, shovels,ax,sledge hammer,wood blocks,tow cables,fording gear and all scale details are awesome.The open assist mechanism on the commanders hatch even works. The headligts work and the hull mounted machine gun muzzle lights up red to simulate firing.The tank commander has headphones that are removable, he also needs to be painted as he is made of green plastic.It comes with decals,two number 3818 for the turret sides and four Balkenkreuze decals for the turret and hull sides.Four Balkenkreuze decals,two on the turret and two on the hull would be Schwere Panzer-Abteilung 503. they were the only heavy tank battalion to have two Balkenkreuze visible on each side,one on the hull and one on the turret near the identification numeral. The only complaint I have is the charger for the 7.2 volt tank battery is made to plug in to a 220 volt european or asian recepticle.

(More customer reviews)At first, we thought that we had a defective product. To get it to move, we had to be touching the hand unit to the tank to get it to communicate. After checking the hand RC control, we figured out that you must first take the back panel off the control box, push the antenna through the hole at the top, and then screw in the antenna directly to the circuit board at the bottom. Once all that is done, the tank operates wonderfully! The radio range is great! My son is having a great time with it...real fun toy!

Seems like Heng Long need some quality checks as the controller was faulty as this is my second one with a bad controller but once you get a good controller the tanks perfect.
I would like to say this is a good tank for younger kids like 7 yo+ and why i say this is that the tank don't have loads of little pieces that can be knocked of accidentally and all so with the turret being shorter there is less chance of it it being bashed.
So it might be on the plain side but makes it better for younger kids.

It is a replica of a Japanese P90 tank. That being said, it is a lot of fun to play with and it works very well. But I don't know if I ever would have purchased it if I had known what it really was. Watch out for the Airsoft pellets because this shoots with some velocity.
