(More customer reviews)I'm an amateur RC pilot and found it almost impossible to fly with this unit at night. It's just too hard to keep your orientation. I've only used it once. After a very short flight I was lucky not to lose the plane and have it fly off into the night. The problem is that the lights are too close together to keep your orientation. If they were spread apart on the wings it might be a different story.
I think the fact is that night flying is very hard and really should only be attempted by an expert. But seeing as how most people using the unit are beginners or amateurs, night flying is probably out of their league.
Great idea, but simply not realistic. Expect to be disappointed and probably lose your plane.
