(More customer reviews)I dont know if i do anything wrong but, after trimming, following the instructions and lines, the body didn't fit in my jato, the hole for the engine is too small, you'll have to use your eye and your instinct.

Red Ford F150 By New Bright 27 Mhz Review

(More customer reviews)This toy was given to me over 13 years ago... I am still messing around with it every now and then. My model has a square remote but everything else is exactly the same. It has never once broke, failed to work, or had a flat tire. It is such a durable little machine that delivers hours of fun and never stops. But there is a down fall... And it is the fact that it take 4 AA batters and not a rechargeable battery pack. But other than that, this toy IS AWESOME and I HIGHLY recommend getting it. It's great for both indoor and outdoor use. Mine is only a few years younger than I am and I still enjoy playing with it after all these years!

(More customer reviews)I ordered this toy early for my 8 year old son for Christmas...early October. Christmas Day, my son opened the present, we put a new set of batteries in the truck and control and NOTHING. We tried the same batteries in another remote control car, and it worked. We tried another set of batteries...NOTHING. I cannot return this toy because it was purchased in October, even though it wasn't even opened until Christmas Day. My son is even more disappointed than I am. So much for shopping early for Chrismas...so much for expecting a toy to work right out of the box!

Maisto 1:14 Off Road Radio Control Ford Raptor Review

(More customer reviews)Its a fun toy, just got it so I don't know how durable it is quite yet. But the battery life is pretty weak, so now I'm trying to track down an extra set of rechargeable batteries. It says it is for 8-15 year olds, but my 4-year old son had no problem controlling it. So maybe the age recommendation is meant to avoid the crying fit he had when the batteries died in about 20 minutes. Another reviewer said it recharges quickly, but the instructions say 4 hours. We'll see how round 2 goes.
It also says it is "Off Road" and meant to be used outside. But then the intructions say don't use it in grass or sand. So I guess they recommend hard packed dirt only? It actually did OK in our lawn for a while, but we don't have an artificially thick, suburban chem lawn, more like thin grass and weeds. If your yard has thick grass it probably won't do well. An it eventually struggled in our yard, and on very slight inclines once the batteries started dying.
Follow-up to my original review:
I still feel the same about the product, but I'm not so impressed by the vendor (Hobby Shack) at this stage. I've contacted them twice to inquire about purchasing a replacement set of batteries from them, but they have not bothered to respond. So now I have to prepare my son each time we go outside, and remind him the batteries won't last very long. Half the time he is OK with it, the other half, he freaks out. So I would avoid this product unless you know how to make your own battery packs or have a nearby store that sells obscure sizes.
